Our experiences shape us but at times we let our negative experiences define us, restricting us from living a meaningful life. When we are in pain and suffering, we tend to get away from our Core Self, which not only increases our suffering but starts affecting us personally, professionally, and interpersonally. If not intervened, it can lead to developing major mental health problems. As a mental health therapist, I will help you steer your life in a more fulfilled direction. You do not have to be in a constant struggle (in silence) and you have a right to happiness and fulfillment in life. Together, in therapy, we will work towards identifying core issues, problem-solve, and re-connect with your true self, where you feel whole and fulfilled. You will find that in doing so you will be able to cultivate a meaningful and peaceful life.
My goal in counseling is to help you connect with your authentic self in a safe, non-judgmental environment so you can find joy in your daily life. My approach to therapy is integrative and centered around YOU as a unique, worthy person. I incorporate Cognitive Behavioral, Mindfulness and Acceptance based principles in my counseling approach.
As your therapist, I will assist you in identifying and achieving your goals and help you cultivate a life filled with meaningful experiences and relationships. I will empower you to tap into your own strengths and resources to overcome life’s challenges and get un-stuck from the dysfunctional life patterns we often find ourselves trapped in.
